Operating Partner with over 35 years of international energy sector experience

  • Mr Olsoni served as Managing Director in the Clean Energy and Infrastructure team at Capital Dynamics alongside Messrs Scaysbrook and Quinlan.

  • Formerly Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of PPM Energy Inc. (Iberdrola Renewables), a US-based energy company that grew to become the second largest wind energy company in the US and third largest independent gas storage company.

  • Mr Olsoni was at Koch Industries Inc., where he served as CFO of the business that marketed heavy petroleum products in the US, China, Mexico and Brazil.

  • Spent 16 years with the Southern Company, having significant senior experience on both the regulated and unregulated sides of the business. While with the Southern Company, Mr. Olsoni was part of the original management team that helped to build Southern Company’s independent power and merchant energy business Southern Energy, Inc.

  • Holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from George Washington University and an MBA from the College of William and Mary.

  • Formerly an outside Director of Canadian Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ).

  • Alongside Quinbrook, Mr Olsoni is a Partner at K Road, which is a management platform that successfully exited a battery storage investment company to Engie and is currently invested in Verto, LLC, a waste transformation and wood pellet management platform.
