Senior executive with over 25 years in the Australian energy and infrastructure sectors, Andrew has an extensive record of navigating complex legal and commercial issues, leading organisational change and driving strategic outcomes.

  • Joined Quinbrook following 12 years at CS Energy where he held multiple C-suite roles including Chief Financial Officer, Executive General Manager Corporate Services and General Counsel, leading legal, commercial, finance, energy markets, human resources, corporate affairs and governance for one of Queensland’s largest generators through the energy transition.
  • Previously, Andrew was Chief Counsel, Australia at QGC – BG Group (now Shell) where he led the legal function advising the Australian operations and the upstream and mid-stream elements of the $20B Queensland Curtis LNG, the world’s first LNG project powered by coal seam gas.
  • Before this, he was General Counsel at Queensland Gas , advising on multiple takeovers and the alliance and asset sale that facilitated BG Group’s acquisition of QGC, including the structuring and execution of upstream development, pipeline expansion and LNG plant agreements.
  • Earlier roles included General Counsel and General Manager, Business Services at Stanwell Corporation, where he advised on asset operations and origination, renewable energy projects across wind, hydro and biomass, and a multi-billion-dollar coal supply and revenue-sharing transaction. He began his career in private practice, specialising in corporate, commercial, tax and energy-related matters.
  • Andrew holds a Bachelor Laws and a Bachelor Business (Accountancy) from Queensland University of Technology and post-graduate qualifications from Australian Institute of Company Directors, Securities Institute of Australia (now Financial Services Institute of Australasia) and Chartered Secretaries Australia (now Governance Institute of Australia).
