Sam Halpert

Associate

Sam is an Associate on Quinbrook’s Investment Team based in the New York office. He focuses on renewable energy and power infrastructure investments, spanning underwriting, valuation, financing and portfolio management.

• Sam began his career at Morgan Stanley in New York as an Analyst on the Power, Utilities & Renewables investment banking team.
• Prior to Quinbrook, Sam was a member of the private equity investment team at Glentra Capital, a European energy transition fund manager, where he focused on new investments, financial modeling, valuation and asset management for the firm’s US investments, based out of New York.
• He previously served as Interim CFO and Head of Strategic Finance for a venture-backed infrastructure business in Latin America.
• Sam holds a BA from Bowdoin College, where his thesis focused on using energy prices to predict Russian military action.
