Minster is a biogas project located in Minster, Ohio that uses anaerobic digestion to convert organic waste into biogas for use as fuel in industrial processes.
The project is co-located with a large dairy products processing plant and will serve as a dedicated waste treatment and energy production facility for the host. Biogas produced by Minster will be sent back to the processing plant to fuel its industrial boilers and displace a portion of the plant’s natural gas usage. Minster began construction in December 2024 and is expected to reach commercial operations in early 2026.
