Carbon footprint of food waste

PurposeEnergy has seven projects in development, construction or operations that support the business and decarbonisation objectives of some of the largest food and beverage companies in the world, including Danone, Franklins and Unilever. The systems enable biogas to be produced, reduce waste products and can additionally fuel on-site boilers, reducing manufacturer’s reliance on natural gas while improving a plant’s carbon footprint.

Meeting rapid growth in demand for renewables fuels

The investment seeks to deliver the capital resources, enhanced commitment to waste management, and additional strategic relationships to support the growing demand for renewable fuels and provide solutions to meet food industry waste regulations.
