US$1.2 billion Gemini project awarded “North America’s Energy Deal of the Year”

New York, NY – March 2, 2023 – Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners (“Quinbrook”), a specialist global investment manager focused exclusively on the infrastructure needed for the energy transition, announced that it has been awarded “North America’s Energy Deal of the Year” for its Gemini project by the 2022 Infrastructure Investor Awards.

Located just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada, the US$1.2 billion Gemini project is currently the largest solar and storage project under construction in the US. With 690 MWac of solar plus 1,416 MWh of battery storage capacity, Gemini is expected to generate enough clean energy to power more than 400,000 homes during peak periods and displace 1.5 million metric tons of CO2 annually once it’s complete and operational later this year.
