UN SDGs

The project is located at the site of a former coal-fired power station and will utilise the existing 132 kV connection infrastructure.

Uskmouth is a stellar example of Quinbrook’s approach to the just transition – transforming legacy fossil fuel infrastructure into sites deploying technologies which support the energy transition and employ local people, bringing them along the transition to a low-carbon power grid. The site supports job creation in a region identified as in need of regeneration.
