Global Head Of Sustainability And Impact

Hilkka leads Quinbrook’s sustainability strategy, policy and reporting across the delivery of Quinbrook’s investments globally. She serves on the Quinbrook Investment Committee. 

• Hilkka joined Quinbrook from Aegon UK, one of the UK’s largest DC pension providers where she established and led the responsible investment team, overseeing Aegon’s climate and stewardship efforts, leading Aegon’s efforts to invest in the energy transition and serving on Aegon’s investment leadership team.
• Prior to that, Hilkka led the responsible investment strategy at Inter Fund Management, part of the Interogo Foundation/IKEA and held roles at EY, the Principles for Responsible Investment, the OECD and the United Nations. She is co-chair of the UK Department for Work and Pensions Taskforce on Social Factors and lead on modern slavery and supply chains, and an active participant in industry dialogue, with previous roles in the Net Zero Asset Owner Alliance and the Steering Committee of the UK Asset Owner Council.
• Hilkka holds a Masters in International Relations, First Class from the University of Edinburgh, and an MSc in International Affairs cum laude from Sciences Po Paris. Hilkka holds the Institute of Directors Certificate in Company Direction.
