• Ioanna is a funds lawyer with over six years of experience advising on fund formation, capital raising and secondary transactions across the private equity and infrastructure sectors. She has extensive experience supporting sponsors throughout the full fundraising lifecycle, including fund structuring, preparation and negotiation of fund documentation, investor due diligence processes and closings.
• Prior to joining Quinbrook, Ioanna was an Associate at Akin Gump LLP, where she advised fund managers, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds in connection with primary fundraisings, co-investments and complex GP-led secondary transactions. She also worked on some of the largest European buyout funds to date, assisting sponsors with investor negotiations, side letters and regulatory considerations, as well as broader strategic fundraising initiatives.
• Her experience spans both sponsor-side and investor-side mandates, giving her a well-rounded understanding of market terms, investor expectations and evolving trends in private capital.
• Ioanna holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nottingham and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from BPP University London.
