The Brendale campus is located adjacent to the South Pine switchyard, the central node of Queensland’s electricity transmission network.
This strategic location provides access to all regions of Queensland for power delivery via three separate high-voltage transmission connections. Power can be delivered directly to the data centre precinct, providing significant power supply access and resilience.
Renewable energy projects across Queensland transmit power through South Pine, providing Supernode with a broad range of options to procure competitively priced renewable power.
The precinct is also supported by connectivity to the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast international cable landing points, providing low-latency connectivity to key international markets.
